Good size carpark and it's free.
It's an old Premier Inn hotel and you can definitely see it 😂
Quick check on all information given
No lift just stairs
Room was a good size, clean and tidy, was a tad cold but didn't take long to warm up.
Bathroom is a good size too.
Bed is comfortable
Wifi is good
The shower was hot but not overly powerful.
Next to a Toby Carvery
Good value and would stay again when in the area.
Location next to the racetrack and two big retail parks.

Fekkin awful…
Rooms are freezing, smells of dope wherever you go, lights don’t work properly but In fairness, its clean enough and the lads that work here are friendly and helpful. Would make good contractors digs but expensive as fekk so your better off staying in town.
Will not stay here again.
Pub next door is ok.

If you're looking for a basic mid-range place to use as a base to explore the Northwest of England in general and Liverpool in particular, this is perfect for you.
Yes it's basic, yes the decoration is a wee bit tired, but it's clean perfectly located with less than five minutes to a major motorway intersection and roughly twenty minutes into Liverpool City Centre. Just tea/coffee facilities in your room and a TV with around forty channels. Wi-Fi was excellent with no lagging.
If you don't plan on lounging around your room all day, and just need somewhere to sleep after all that exploring - this is perfect.

Great location for the races, but the hotel is unloved and not very clean. Dirty carpets, marks on the walls, discoloured or missing sealant. Certainly not worth £100 a night.
The bed was comfy though, there's ample car parking.

Nice budget priced accommodation. Friendly helpful staff. Rooms clean and warm. 12 noon check-out is a real bonus and takes the rush awayfrom yourmorning. . The Toby carvery next door is good value for evening meal and fair priced beer.

Stayed here for just over a week whilst my wife was having surgery in Aintree hospital, the hospital is around a 25-30 minute walk away. the hotel is in a great location and has a number of dining options very close by including a toby carvery and KFC rooms are spacious and comfortable, staff are extremely polite and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them, the hotel is also very close to aintree racecourse and a large retail park too, I wouldn't hesitate to stay in this hotel again and most probablyvwill in the near future, top marks!! 5*

Stayed here couple weeks ago for a Night
Was the worst night sleep I’ve ever had in my life !
Fell asleep at 10.30 but was woken up continuously through the night by people loudly coming in and out of rooms next to me and I’m not a light sleeper.
I ended up leaving at 5.30am in frustration and I sat in my car for two hours before could go anywhere with was that early.
The man at the counter told me I could get my money back for the horrible experience but I never did, I complained to them and spoke to a women on the phone a week afterwards after she emailed me to call her who had informed me they checked the cctv and they was full up of workers all working alternating shifts through the night they had been in and out all night. She did apologise and say that it isn’t usually like that but.
This place was housing criminals fresh out of prison not long ago ! Without any limitations on the time of prisoners they took in , you could often see them all outside as I worked nearby at the time I must of been desperate to even think I’d get a decent sleep here ! Could have got a proper hotel for the price with actual quiet time after 11 and respect for noise. Not some over priced hostel messy hostel.
Think about that before you book a room here , who has shared that bed before you !

Rooms were great and spacious and very clean. I can’t remember the last time I used a proper key to get in a room. The staff couldn’t do enough for you.

First time visiting Liverpool and we enjoyed it so much we wanted to extend our stay. My wife called The Stables Inn to ask if it was possible we could stay the night at short notice and a lovely lady was more than happy to help. Arranged a nice and clean room with a comfy bed, recently renovated walk in shower room, a travel cot for our daughter. The staff were all very welcoming, gave us advice on places to visit. Customer service here is above and beyond! We look forward to visiting the fantastic city of Liverpool again and staying here again.

Thank you to all staff we came across. All very polite and welcoming 😁
This was a cheap and cheerful hotel.
But for £65 for a double room dont expect top of the range stuff.
Staff where brilliant and couldnt do more to help. I had a diabetic hypo at 2.30 am and staff member was on hand within seconds to supply me with the much needed mars bar.
I was staying in the area as my son was getting married.
Room was clean and tidy no frill but who needs them for one night.
Room was very warm so staff member supplied me with fans for the room.
I would say the only down side was the pillows being so thin and flat. Had there been better pillows I think i would have slept like a log.

This is unintentionally a 1970s hotel
The first thing to note is dated .. the TV is tiny on a metal pole. I think it was the first ever lcd tv
My evening was clouded by the fumes of marihuana in the corridor
The desk manager's solution was to walk up and down the corridor spraying perfume. The puffing dragon generating the whiff was untouched
I had a fault on the tv.. no picture.. all blue screen
The manager tried but failed to fix
The following day, I raised it with another manager, and he fixed it. Apparently, it is a button to switch from analogue??
He was a strange chap. Took great pleasure in belittling the fault I'd raised until I told him his own staff couldn't fix it the previous evening
Cut a long, awful story short. I checked out the next day, one night was enough
I was happy that the other manager, Bethany, kindly didn't charge me for cancelling so small mercies
Perfect hotel for secondary cannabis inhalation, retro mini TVs, and some dodgy neighbours
The taxi driver that took me away from the premises advised me that only asylum seekers stay there
Enough said

I had booked a room for my son who was competing in an event at the Aintree Racecourse. Due to an unseasonal arctic blast the event was cancelled and there was a national travel advisory issued. As such I was forced to cancel the reservation. I submit a request for a refund which the Inn declined.
If this was a whimsical request, I would understand the standard cancellation policy being enforced however, the extreme weather conditions made it unsafe to travel, and no longer necessary as the event had been cancelled.
Greed, is a word that comes to mind................robotic policy enforcement, a sign of the times when customers are not top of mind, profit is.
